Next Sunday’s Concert in Nashville with Haylee and Jimmy Mitchell - featuring original music, Advent hymns, and Christmas classics – will be dedicated to their late brother Bobby Mitchell, who passed away peacefully in his sleep last week.
Please join us in honoring Bobby and celebrating his life with this evening of beautiful music.

Robert Marshall Mitchell (Bobby) October 23rd, 1983 – November 28th, 2011
Bobby passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Atlanta, GA. He was born in Montgomery, AL and grew up in Georgia. He graduated from St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School, Marist School (Class of 2002), and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. He then spent most of his adult career working as a Client Services Representative with IBM.
He was the oldest son of three children born to Murray and Deanna Mitchell and the grandson of Bob and Barbara Mitchell and Marshall and Donna Hailey. He will forever be remembered by his brother Jimmy and sister Haylee, his aunt Heather and uncle Te-Bird Rose, his aunt Donna Lynne and uncle Randy Polson, and his cousins Brittany and Hannah, along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him.
Bobby loved Auburn football, deep-sea fishing, spending time with family, having fun with friends, and spoiling his dog Gus. Bobby touched the lives of many people with his fun-loving spirit, child-like faith, generous heart, and unforgettable sense of humor.
Friends and family are invited to his funeral Mass on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, at 11:00am at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (7171 Glenridge Drive, Atlanta, GA 30328), as well as the reception following downstairs in the Stapleton Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bobby’s name to the Auburn University Fund online (www.auburn.edu/giving) or by mail: Attention Sharon Awtry ’99, Director of Annual Giving, 317 South College Street, Auburn, AL 36849-5153.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
